Founded in 2008 as a Florida C corporation, Gladinet Inc. provides simple, easy to use access solutions that are centrally managed and authorized while helping our partners quickly enter the cloud storage market with brand-able versions of these solutions.
In Year 2009, Gladinet Cloud Desktop was released. It has over 1 million downloads, helping users connecting to online cloud storage services from their desktop.
In Year 2010, Gladinet Cloud Server was released. It is similar to Gladinet Cloud Desktop but helping users connecting to online cloud storage services from their file server.
In Year 2011, Gladinet Cloud for Teams was released. It ties Gladinet Cloud Desktop, Gladinet Cloud Server into one single solution, together with web browser clients and mobile applications. In Year 2012, Gladinet Cloud for Enterprise and Service Providers was released. It packages the Gladinet Cloud Team Solution into a Windows Installer Package so enterprises and services providers can self-install and self-host.
In Year 2013, Gladinet continues to enhance the personal cloud, team cloud and enterprise cloud products. It built partnership with HP Cloud, Google Cloud, Amazon and with many service provider partners around the world. In year 2013, as a milestone, a private, self-hosted, Gladinet Cloud Enterprise runs on a 6-server cluster, servicing a school district community of 23,000+ users.
In Year 2014, Gladinet continues to enhance the self-hosted file sync and share platform. The main product is Gladinet Cloud Enterprise. Surrounding the Gladinet Cloud Enterprise, it branches into three different products, the single enterprise option, multi-tenant service provider option and the Gladinet-hosted team edition. At the same time, Gladinet continues to expand partnerships with Google, HP, Amazon and build product channel and partnership with managed service provider(MSP) partners around the world.
As a milestone, A privately deployed Gladinet Cloud Enterprise cluster is serving up an enterprise community of 300,000 users.
In Year 2015, Gladinet continues to focus on the self-hosted file sync and share platform by renaming Gladinet Cloud Enterprise to CentreStack. CentreStack is the flagship product for the company. The same year, Gladinet form partnership with ConnectWise and focus on the managed service provider and the managed file sync and share market.
In Year 2016, Gladinet continues to focus on the self-hosted file sync and share platform and the managed service provider (MSP) market. The MSP community is driving the CentreStack product towards security focus. Many product features are centered on security, such as NTFS permission integration; Active Directory identity integration; granular permission control; file locking and on-demand file sync based on permission. Jerry Huang is Co-Founder and CEO of Gladinet. Over the past 10 years, prior to founding Gladinet, Jerry worked for Citrix Systems, growing his responsibility from individual software engineer to team manager of the ICA technology and release manager of the MetaFrame product. Jerry holds Master's degrees of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Physics from the University of Michigan.
Haikun Du, is Co-Founder and CTO of Gladinet. Over the past 10 years, prior to founding Gladinet, Haikun worked for Citrix Systems, growing his responsibility from individual software engineer to key contributor of the IMA technology for distributed systems. Haikun also founded Beijing DeMeng Tech (GIS) company. Haikun holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Beijing University.
Franklyn Peart, is Co-Founder and SVP of Business Development and Sales at Gladinet. Prior to founding Gladinet, Franklyn held several key technical positions at Citrix Systems, including leadership of the teams responsible for developing service packs for terminal services and improving the scalability of Citrix server farms. During his tenure at Citrix, Franklyn was awarded two patents. He holds degrees in computer science and math from Florida International University; is an avid musician, tennis player and entrepreneur.
Myk Willis is a technologist and entrepreneur with experience growing companies from startups to the Fortune 500. Myk founded Myxer, a venture-backed mobile technology startup, which grew to $10M in annual revenues under his leadership. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for the design and implementation of multiple high-profile software technologies at Citrix, supporting a multi-billion dollar product line.
Jonathan Cole has over 40 years of experience with venture capital, leveraged acquisitions, and emerging technology companies, particularly in software, information technology, telecom, biotech and life sciences and clean technology.
